Don't really care for diamonds that much. Do like a big beautiful ruby though.

Wow!
You don't check the forums for a couple of days, and it is all action. I changed a computer over from UD to BOINC (P4 3.2,1Gb)........ previous history was something like 76 days for 69,000 points. In my first day of BOINC, I had a convenient result come in at one hour and three minutes, for a daily points total of 1300. Lots of extra points - a good thing that I got the admin guy to give me the password so I could setup the BOINC! I have a Pale Ale fermenting now at around 17C, was a quick extract based brew with lots of fuggles put in. Down to 1017 yesterday and still notably sweet, but I am happy with the way it is going as I used a 2001 dated Wyeast pack which I just had to try or throw away. I made a starter to get the cell count up after a slow swell of the smack pack, but it seems to be doing the job. Hopefully I can get another 5 or 6 point drop over the next few days. Should be drinking it next weekend I reckon! Rob |
