Okay, team -- we've got us a little bit of friendly competition now. Phicksus over on the BitBender team wanted to see what we could do, so I challenged him and his team to a contest to see which of our teams could recruit the most members during the month of February. BitBender has 36 members right now, and HomeBrewers has 33. They've got an edge so I'm not even waiting for him to agree to this contest; as far as I'm concerned, we've come out punching

(nice to have a brewery that sells glassware with your name on it -- LOL):  Dave, this somehow escaped my attention earlier; for some reason I thought, from an earlier post or two, that the glass was your own ... i.e., your own design or whatever. You really shouldn't drink so much homebrew at once. It doesn't take much at all ... if I've made it. First I'm not a guy. 2nd your in deep doo now. Sorry, madame. Anyway, I sure hope nelsoc doesn't see your profanity ("doo"). Honestly, I've got to send that guy/gal a few homebrews. For the second time now people will be getting the false impression that I've used some blasphemy or really crude language. Hey, nelsoc, when you paste your little note at the bottom that a post was edited for profanity, why in the flip don't you explain it a little bit. In this instance, I had only misspelled "Phicksus" (okay, I confess it was intentional as part of the 'game'), and spelled it as a single word. Let's see: I dropped the 'h' and the 'u' and added an 'a' in front of the first 's'. I know, we've been down this road before, but after all, the word I used is a real honest to gosh last name. Here you go; a legitimate news report which includes this statement: "Those who spoke one after another were Damanan Pickass, the former head of the youth wing of the ruling Ivorian Popular Front (FPI), ...". Do you also recrute those that want to try homebrewing? Sure. Anyone who is even sympathetic to the cause of homebrewing is welcome. My point is that I focus my recruitment in homebrewing forums. Also what is the goal and what are the stakes? The goal is the most new members recruited during the month of February (the larger goal is the promotion and growth of WCG, of course).
