Not the most urgent issue, but I am only able to get 1 MCM task at a time on my systems. It may have been from old settings on my preferences. I have changed the setting to allow "unlimited" MCM tasks, but I think the change is not propagating back to my system. I would appreciate if you can look into it once we get back to a more normal operation for everyone. |

Progress on the MCM1 test tasks side...
Starting at around 16:55 UTC today a load of my MCM1 test tasks (MCM1_9xxxxxx) have advanced to Delete State 1 (so they should have been assimilated...) -- by 18:55 UTC 1031 of my 3090 test tasks that were marked as Valid had moved to DS1. As expected, only test WUs have moved on... I still have 408 test tasks Pending Validation; it looks as if most of them are "jailed" (not waiting for an In Progress wingman...) As for "normal" tasks (MCM1_024xxxx), I have received a lot of retries for pre-migration WUs where the missing results ended up marked as failures on or after 2025-10-08. All of them have ended up Pending Validation (so far). I also got a small number of brand new tasks (sent out before 10:00 UTC) - 58 have validated and 41 are Pending Validation. From reading the latest Operational Status update, I'm unsure whether some of these things are supposed to be happening yet :-) -- it'll sort out in time, but... Cheers - Al. |

My queue of MCM resends from this morning has dried up. I keep a short queue (4 hours), so not sure if all the resends have been sent.

I have the same problem as TLD on two of my rigs. Endless repeat. Not downloading anything useful due to this. Reseting project does not help.

OMG. Just checked my two boxes dedicated to WGD. I have 25 jobs in queue on one box, and 5 on the other. Only 5 jobs actually running because I had opened the boxes up to the FOLDING@home project for the last 2 months.

Full cache now with regular MCM1 tasks. A bit high time estimation, but after 10 (I think it was) validated tasks, BOINC will adjust the estimated time, to more reasonable value.

Other than the issues with the .PNG file downloads that everyone else had, I have had no other issues downloading and running the any of the WU's for my WinXP, Win10 and Win11 systems.
I did look though the -3 resends in the online Pending Validation Results area and noticed that there were some aborts (from before the move to Nibi) showing the OS as Alpine Linux as well as Windows before the move to Nibi. MCM1_0241126_0491_0 Alpine Linux Alpine Linux v3.22 User Aborted 2025-08-26 20:54:54 UTC 2025-08-29 15:17:07 UTC What OS version are you running? What version of BOINC are you running? Is it a beta version? Was this a problem BEFORE the server move to Nibi? Or, is it new to Nibi? Have you tried doing a system reboot and/or reinstalling boinc? Many of these things you may have already tried but I mention them here in case you have not. |

Only the newly issued workunits ending with 0 are getting validated, while the ones that were resent after previous errors — those ending with 2 through 4 — remain stuck in pending validation status.

I'm getting new MCM WUs (fantastic). Just want to document that I'm asking too much credit (202.5) for these new WUs. I was reasonable with the previous batch of resends.
