Thanks Hans for the quick alert to the latest newsletter. I've updated my first post. I'm very happy to see a new project. Good reminder for me to make that monetary donation that I'd been meaning to make since ARP came back.

looks like the latest newsletter is a download only and now here https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/newsletters
I'm out of ARP. I hope they restart the flow soon. I'm running a token MCM to keep the communication timely with the server. I've also made sure I'm part of the beta testing group as well as accept new projects in anticipation of a new project. Time to check your settings. |

To get ARP as they arrive whenever, it is best to run 1 MCM per spare thread. That way you update more frequently.

There are still plenty of ARP's floating around to catch.

There are still plenty of ARP's floating around to catch. Not sure about "plenty" (unless one gets lucky!), but there will be quite a lot of tasks that should've failed No Reply a while ago but the due time boosts the WCG techs worked against the good intention in cases where users had just "switched off" without aborting tasks or detaching from the project first!I hadn't realized that some tasks got "boosted" more than once, so I was a bit surprised to receive related retries after a couple of days without work :-) -- I have also just had a task validated after a 15-day wait for another task to "time out" (which should've given me a clue!)... Here's hoping that the next tranche of ARP1 has a smoother passage, and not as many missed deadlines! Cheers - Al. |

Since about 5 hours the ARP-resend well seems to be dry. I’ve just picked up ARP1_0015409_140_5, so there are still a few out there!BTW, I had my first Invalid ARP1 result recently. The two machines that validated were running Windows 11, whereas my machine is still on Windows 10 - though that might just have been a coincidence. Cheers, Mark |

@Unixchick. Keep up the good work! What happened to the white box again with the number of workunits done in a day is that broken? Where are you what do you do. I know you said you have some children or what or did I get that wrong?
Seen Dr "Jurassic Park" about lately on here or what lol? I think he's hiding from us all. I'd like to know status of donations and stuff at least monthly please if you're reading this at all. Bar thing on his website but hardly ever gets updated. Well I'm donating about what 100GBP so what 180CAD soon anyway. Nice work with the 50 years MCM badge by there way there! :) x Field of expertise: Processes of mind. Light is INVISIBLE (evidences no look/appearance)! See/hear MATTER only! A table, chair.. a bell, tuning fork. See: "to discern/perceive look/appearance". Hear: "to discern/perceive sound". Colour is a property of look/appearance hence light has no colour! If you can't describe what something looks like it evidences no look/appearance hence you CAN'T see it! You CAN'T describe what a colour looks like similarly so you CAN'T see it! Also invisible! Colour is perceived. You can't ascribe colour to light because it evidences no look/appearance and colour is a property of this. Beauty {taste smell sound look feel} processes of mind. Beauty **of** words (perceived NOT seen!) See ink on the paper [see matter]. Word perceived by mind NOT read! => Word IN mind! Read: "to peruse things separated whitespace" e.g. "read a book" (collection words) "read letters" one by one. We neither read words nor do we see them! We perceive them! Also suffering and the emotions {happiness sadness pain}. Also processes of mind due Beauty-Suffering dichotomy [equivalence in nature however polar opposite in meaning] and for instance "feel pain" "feel happiness" "feel sadness". You'll note well that process feel may be due either sensory nerve or emotional say "feel table" or "feel pain" and moreover process pain also dichotomous in nature as per may also be due either sensory or emotional. We evidence upon all emotions may have crying which may be delegated from process suffering as say all emotions may in essence cause suffering of mind, hence crying. Lastly but not leastly we have then "operators of mind": perceive and determined. For instance "perceive look banana" or "determined look {letter on doormat}" where operators AND sense processes work left to right like mathematic operators, and we evidence as per "perceive look mountain" or "perceive sound bell" that on the very right hand side we have some matter, as per See/Hear MATTER! Many thanks for reading, have a lovely day.
