I started this new update thread in anticipation of an ARP restart. Here is the latest update on ARP
The rate of MCM going out looks amazing! It is nice to see it over 1 million results returned each day consistently. Let's hope any strengthening they have done to the back end will hold up under an ARP release. |

Just bumping this thread up. We are getting a good flow of MCM, and waiting for the return of ARP.
There is exciting news about a new project that will be added to WCG. You know how I love my badges. I can't wait to earn some new badges. |

Regarding the new project...
----------------------------------------I presume we'll see the new project in the Beta Testing forums before they release it, even if it is based on software already in use for other WCG projects. Even in IBM days, the in-house testing often didn't find stuff that got tuned/repaired during Beta Testing... It'll be interesting to see which platforms the new project will support; that may well depend on the software it uses. A native version for ARM would be nice (but unlikely, I fear; Android would probably be higher priority!) and I hope Mac users aren't forgotten (especially if a native application for new Macs can be done!) Unfortunately, we have to bear in mind that the new WCG team isn't as large as the IBM team was, so a lot of what we might wish for may not be [immediately] possible :-( Interesting times :-) Cheers - Al. How is the MCM flowing? the number looks lower than usual. I think it is usually 50k+, and now it is at 21k

Note that WUProp is now up, having been down for server migration, see below, so any derived figures will be short.

Nice to know it is a sensor error and not a slow down. I did look at the stats on this site for MCM and didn't see an issue, but I know that number is only updated twice a day, so I was worried I was seeing a problem at the start. So nice to know it is only a WUProp issue. |
