You are correct about no tasks. This is from my logs on 1 PC

Another crunching through a batch of MCM right now. and I see on the projects.py site there are 52,000 jobs to be done for MCM. Assume everyone else in same boat? Just checked mine. All machines have full queues, both Windows and Linux. Since the queues are full, I did not bother to check the messages on the remote machines.

So odd. For one machine, getting "Scheduler request completed: go 0 new tasks", doing nothing atm, last submitted a job at 12:00 UT. Another crunching through a batch of MCM right now. and I see on the projects.py site there are 52,000 jobs to be done for MCM. Assume everyone else in same boat? Check you cache size for the pc not getting work, setting it too low will mean you won't get any or only a few tasks and remember it shares that cache with every other Boinc Project you are getting work from. So ie if you have a boatload of PrimeGrid or SRBase tasks then your cache is probably full and Boinc won't get any tasks from WCG. Setting too big of a cache means you will get waaay too many tasks to finish before they time out and that's not good either as some projects punish you for that, I don't know if WCG does that or not though.   |

@AlmightyMoe I was going to ask where projects.py was but found it.and I see on the projects.py site I wonder about the accuracy of that info. Checked Denis and it says 1438 but it has been dry for 2 days.. Denis is my backup and I try to force through some WUs when it has some. Same for Tn-Grid (73) and it's been dry since August. Checked Denis and it says 1438 but it has been dry for 2 days.. Denis is my backup and I try to force through some WUs when it has some DENIS sends WUs in batches with around 250,000-500,00 WUs at a time. And a new batch seems not to be send out until all of the sent WUs come back home. The supply of new WUs from them ran out early Friday and there are around 20,000 WUs still out in the wild and to be crunched. So a new batch, due to the weekend, isn't likely to show up until Monday afternoon (depending on your time zone relative to Spain).But as far as WCG goes, it looks like soft brown matter is about to hit a fast rotating appliance again, as there haven't been indeed now no new WUs for the last 2 hours and I have several hosts that are unable to report fiinished WUs. And the twice daily stats update didn't have to be running at noon UTC 12/2, as the Overview page seems to be stuck right now at midnight UTC 12/2...  Ralf PS: It's shortly after 16:00 (4pm) UTC 12/2, not sure when this post will actually appear if it isn't one of those that got censored once again for pointing out the obvious...  |
