I checked one hour ago, and the upload, reporting, and requests for new tasks did not work then. So, the outage has been going on for more than an hour now.

Looks like the website is staying up during the outage. Looks like we are in the outage now. From the announcement:our servers reside needs to update the firmware on the equipment providing the science filesystem. They estimate that this will take approximately 1 hour. During this time, users will be unable to get new work or upload completed work, but the website and forums will still be available |

Looks like they are up and running again. The "http service not available" message is gone, but nothing is being uploaded and thus reported and newly downloaded on any of my hosts....Ralf |

Of course, just when I had posted my last reply, it started to upload, reporting and a few downloads made it through so far as well....

While uploading, downloading and reporting seems to be working again, it seems that at this point, at least one external stats run was missed.
Well, past 5pm in Toronto now, let's see if this has been catching up in the morning... Ralf |

Looks like they are up and running again. And looks like it is down, again.While not the old retries on upload, reporting at least has been slow as molasses all afternoon and into the evening. And now the "http service not available" error is back and nothing is being reported back. Also checking the result page is somehow on Valium right now, at least I get only those nauseating little progress bars all over the place... Ralf |
