What's going on with Validation at the moment? In WCG Results I normally have between 200 and 250 WUs listed but at the moment I have 620. Of these 620 about 250 to 300 are Pending Validation, some going back a couple of weeks or more.
----------------------------------------I have never seen this situation before. Will all these PVs eventually get validated or will they simply be written off? I assume everyone else is in the same boat. An explanation would be appreciated.

Have a look in your results at some of them. You may find there is a copy waiting to be sent out. It is a known problem, Mike |

TigerLily and team,
The WU for MCM has slowed down to the point my machines now have idle CPUs hungry for WUs. The resends of MCM and SCC have just about stopped. SCC does not look like they are sending out any new work for several days. Is there a WUs in the queues somewhere not getting out? |

I haven't noticed a shortage of WUs on my Windows machine, but my Linux machine is dry. It was running only a single WU when I checked earlier today. It looks like it has a few more now, but not enough to keep it busy.

I currently have 186 PVs which is slightly below average but I don’t appear to be hit badly by the “Waiting to send” problem reported by others. In my experience they do get resolved and we eventually receive the credits for them. |

My machine with 16 CPUs is almost running dry, 12 hours ago it was able to catch and hold 33 MCM1-tasks, now only 3 tasks are left. Whatever it is that is capping the floodgates, it should be adjusted to release more workunits or to have a greater surplus available, shouldn't it?
----------------------------------------Adri PS The device is running Linux, if that matters. [Edit 1 times, last edit by adriverhoef at Sep 8, 2023 10:35:41 AM] |

Both Linux and Windows just about dry of both SCC and MCM. The last work unit downloaded at 13:10 UTC almost 2 hours ago.

Yep- I started to see this happening about 2 days ago with our Threadripper 5995WX system and now it is showing up on all the other systems. Work would trickle in, maybe 2-5 work units at a time, every once in a while.
