transient HTTP error on every WU download for every file on different computers with different Win OS

I just noticed I'm getting a work unit for the African Rainfall Project downloaded to my computer. But I have that project unchecked in the "My Projects" section. In fact it is the ONLY project unchecked, but it is the ONLY work unit being downloaded. Something wrong somewhere.

The personal settings are being ignored during the testing phase it appears. Others are reporting this as well. Feel free to abort the WU if you can't or don't want to process it.

I just noticed I'm getting a work unit for the African Rainfall Project downloaded to my computer. But I have that project unchecked in the "My Projects" section. In fact it is the ONLY project unchecked, but it is the ONLY work unit being downloaded. Something wrong somewhere. This has been noted by several posters. Apparently Krembil is ignoring preferences when sending out test units. Perhaps they should be looking to the BETA channel for their test units so crunchers don't get work units which may be incompatible with their machines. Cheers

As we have had very little work, it is possible that unchecking does not work if the option to download other work if none of your checked projects has work is checked.

There is no need to complain about it, and there is no need to change anything. Just ignore it, even that http/https part, it is totally irrelevant at this point! In the section where you select the projects you want to work on there is an extra tick box that says, effectively, if there are no work units for any of my selected projects then give me anything that’s going. I suspect that you, like me, have that ticked. |

Are there any issues at your end currently? I can't find a server status page. I have a bunch of stalled downloads for an Affrica Rainfall task, whatever I do I can't get it to continue. An existing task is still running, I am now wondering whether this will upload when done
