So which URL is correct, the one with masters in it or without. Don't change anything. Ignore it. |

Receiving sporadic WU's, no problem.
Could someone get rid of the following, unwarranted, unjustifiable confusion. :/ 07/11/22 22:41:39 | World Community Grid | update requested by user 07/11/22 22:41:42 | World Community Grid | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. 07/11/22 22:41:42 | World Community Grid | Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU 07/11/22 22:41:45 | World Community Grid | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 07/11/22 22:41:45 | World Community Grid | This project seems to have changed its URL. Got about 20 OPN1 WU's a few days ago. They completed and uploaded, with some retries. Nothing since. I assume they are still just testing. This is on the URL with "master" in it, but since that redirects to the other one I doubt it matters.

I remember seeing some suggestions and question about SERVER STATUS.
----------------------------------------I have added several links from other projects (ETA) to allow you to check out the information as they present it: From: https://www.sidock.si/sidock/ https://www.sidock.si/sidock/server_status.php From: https://www.climateprediction.net/ https://www.cpdn.org/server_status.php (ETA) Einstein@home server status page from system page (https://einsteinathome.org/) https://einsteinathome.org/server_status.php Those are all accessible from that web site's home page without needing to logon, I look forward to seeing how this is implemented in the not to distant future. Thanks [Edit 2 times, last edit by bfmorse at Jul 12, 2022 10:49:19 AM] |

That has been requested for a long time. If IBM wasn't able to do it, then Krembil probably can't, at least with their other priorities at the moment. |

That has been requested for a long time. If IBM wasn't able to do it, then Krembil probably can't, at least with their other priorities at the moment. But not being "able" to do so, that is utter nonsense. With a setup like this, regardless of the overall size, it is impossible to manage it without the use of some monitoring software. And if that is in place, it should be a breeze to publish this on the web site. Ralf |

Agreed. This project should have server status page.

Should be a matter of flipping a (virtual) switch to generate the page if it's not generated already (there's stats exports) and just needing a link to the page.

WCG does not have the standard BOINC setup, but is heavily dependent of Websphere. I doubt it would be a simple flipping of a virtual switch to make Websphere show any Server Status Page.
----------------------------------------Websphere is one of the main reasons IMO, for why this migration has taken so much longer than Krembil anticipated. [Edit 2 times, last edit by Grumpy Swede at Jul 12, 2022 8:52:17 PM] |
