Are these results/work units being correctly updated in "My Contribution"? I'm deciding whether or not to enable WCG on some of my systems, but I won't if it's just bad data. I wouldn't want actual production work units to be used as test units and not count in the project totals during the twice-daily stats runs.

I've noticed that the WUs I've processed for testing get wiped from the "Results" section under "My contribution" after a few days, so I don't think they're counting them under the "official" statistics, unless they are going to add them back in later, after the system is officially relaunched.

Yikes yeah no, that's a no go for me to mix production with test like that. I'm disabling WCG until an actual go live.
----------------------------------------If Krembil really is the largest university research group in North America, this is a bit jarring to be honest. I've visited small research institutes, and they had full blown IT departments. I wonder if WCG is solely being run by Jurisica Lab and not all of Krembil, so maybe there's not a dedicated IT team and dedicated in-house datacenter. I really do hope Krembil has full buy-in of WCG so decades of humanitarian and volunteer effort doesn't simply come to an end.

Completed and (in)validated WU have ALWAYS been deleted from any WCG results "after a few days". They are just not counted towards the individual stats for count, runtime and credit within WCG, while they aggregated BOINC points are in fact calculated and are available to the external stats sites...Ralf [Edit 1 times, last edit by TPCBF at Aug 15, 2022 11:43:33 PM] |

Once testing is finished we should get validated results showing in our statistics. Mike |

Today, what I found strikes the most, is that there was only one (1!) "transient HTTP error" (instead of 24 yesterday), while my device received 81 OPN1 tasks today and 11 OPN1 tasks yesterday. Yesterday, 22 of the "transient HTTP error" messages were related to ARP1 tasks and 2 to OPN1 tasks.
----------------------------------------No 'Retry Now' or 'Retry pending transfers' knobs were touched during that time, the system did it all by itself both times. # grep transient /var/log/messages | sed 's/ 14:.*//' | uniq -c [Edit 1 times, last edit by adriverhoef at Aug 15, 2022 2:00:02 PM] |

Today I did not get any tasks at all. Shut down computers doesn't get any tasks, for some utterly strange reason.

I got 20 of them, mostly all resends with no indication in the logs of any problems with the downloads.
