Yes, the bottleneck is with the research team. I think it was uplinger who said that they couldn't increase the GPU work otherwise the research team wouldn't do anything else other than sort the data they receive from WCG. It's actually two items: - Identify and acquire data sets to run against - Process and filter the results Both processes involve a high degree of automation but there is also some human involvement as well. Cool, tx for info . Just curious, how many people is currently working on Covid 19 project ? |

Well, now that we're back to "almost impossible to get GPU tasks" (only 11 in the last 25 hours), and I'm not wasting electricity on CPU tasks, I'll shut down my GPU computer.
It was productive while it lasted. |

I'll shut down my GPU computer. You could set GPUGRID as a backup project with a resource share of 0 or just contribute to it solely with that computer. It's a BOINC project as well so you'll be able to get nice statistics showing up in your signature that we see here. No need to let the hardware go to waste.![]() |

For a brief moment uploads worked and was able to upload 90% of my queue. Now they are stuck again, and so are the downloads..
