EDIT...............and now this. I'm not surprised - that must be the biggest problem over a weekend: stashing all our returned data somewhere safe until Scripps are ready to come and truck it away. I'd noticed uploads have been running very slow for the last few hours.5/3/2021 11:26:34 AM | World Community Grid | [error] Error reported by file upload server: Server is out of disk space |

Well, after all it is a stress test, and problems are expected. After this total "abuse" of the entire infrastructure, they do know where the weak points are. So, a successful stress test I would say.
----------------------------------------Edit: My uploads are getting through now. Edit2: Spoke too soon. 4 went through, and then it went kapoof again ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Grumpy Swede at May 3, 2021 4:48:46 PM] |

The problem is there is no mechanism to alert the techs of a problem. Perhaps if we were all to start reporting posts in this thread WCG staff would start getting text messages and look in to see why their phones were blowing up?

If they don't have automatic notifications built into the infrastructure, I would consider that contributory negligence... However, for all we know they could be contributing to these problems as they are "tweeking" parameters.
