What's the app name (to go in app_config.xml) for this beta? I do recall a post from uplinger about this some time ago but I can't find it, and also didn't know if it has changed for this beta...

Getting some strange behaviour right now on both machines (GTX1050Ti and GTX960). Tasks start and run for a while and then suddenly kind of stop. They say "Active" but don't use any GPU/CPU. They get stuck. Sometimes it helps to stop the task and stop GPU Computing completely then turn it on again. After a few minutes they get stuck again though. Make sure you haven't accidentally set "Do work on my graphics card while computer is in use?" to NO, in your Device Profile for the computer in question. Negative, never have this activated and it isn't now (besides that, the thread wouldn't be marked "Active" then). One WU went through OK, next got stuck. After aborting that, next one startet OK but got stuck after two minutes. I'll test some more with that one...  |

@nanoprobe,
I show a few hosts in the database with that domain name from you, however the most recent id does not show a GPU on the system at all. BOINC does not register a GPU when doing an scheduler request to us. [BOINC|7.4.42] Maybe one of the others on here know why that would be, but you should look towards the top of your event log to see if BOINC recognizes it. One of the steps usually to take is to make sure your drivers are up to date. Thanks, -Uplinger |

It can also happen if BOINC has started too soon after a reboot, before the drivers have fully initialised.
