Re: OpenPandemics GPU Beta Test - March 26 2021 [ Issues Thread ]

Keith,
I have a variety of GPUs. AMD 7970, 7770, 270x and Nvidia GTX1060.

A quick search shows these as AMD Elsmere GPUs.

AMD Radeon RX 480
AMD Radeon RX 470
AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100
AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100

The WX versions could be for mobile devices but I'm not sure.

@nanoprobe,

Confirmed that those are on our good list of cards... Looks like it was just an issue with estimates on the server side.

But the error task from the Ellesmere card isn't yours, is it nanoprobe, but a resend for another users error?

Edit: Still no tasks for me.....

Correct. It is a resend from another host, not mine.

Ahh...ok, i was curious why there was a difference in what you were reporting and the card in the database. I didn't check to make sure the host id linked to your account, I made an assumption.

Also, just loaded 1000 more with an update to the estimated times...it appears my change didn't propagate to the system..

Yeah, I thought so. Just had to get it confirmed because it could have been misunderstood.

And finally I got 4 tasks for my GTX980. Now off to hunt for tasks for the iGPU.

Re: OpenPandemics GPU Beta Test - March 26 2021 [ Issues Thread ]

Windows 10, AMD RX 550, ran all WU's without errors until the exceeded elapsed time error on the last Beta. Again, the same error:

exceeded elapsed time limit 1608.96 (126601.33G/78.69G)

https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...s.do?workunitId=569922908

The other wingmen errored as well. However, it appears this was a resend as it uses application 7.27 and only my copy and another one were actually made today, the others are from the 12th of March (one of which actually appears to have completed successfully and delivered on the same March 12 day but ended up marked as too later for some reason).

Edit: Ok, I see this task and others may not have had the timeout fix yet so I guess this report may not longer apply to the following Beta work units.

Re: OpenPandemics GPU Beta Test - March 26 2021 [ Issues Thread ]

Getting this in the log file of 1 machine. It's using the same profile as all the others. Nothing I've tried has fixed it.

Re: OpenPandemics GPU Beta Test - March 26 2021 [ Issues Thread ]

Getting some strange behaviour right now on both machines (GTX1050Ti and GTX960).

Tasks start and run for a while and then suddenly kind of stop. They say "Active" but don't use any GPU/CPU. They get stuck. Sometimes it helps to stop the task and stop GPU Computing completely then turn it on again. After a few minutes they get stuck again though.
