Just an FYI, this is the last I will load for the evening. I will check things again tomorrow to make sure that the counts still look correct and numbers are within reason. Thanks, -Uplinger OK. These are all extremely short WU's less or about 2 minutes on my 980 (running 1 WU) I'll wait with concurrent running WU's on the GPU's, until we're in full production. Have a nice evening Uplinger. |

Hehe, 8000 work units lasted less than 40 minutes.
----------------------------------------Edit:I wonder if some people here are running those "hacked" BOINC versions, with which you can trick the server to think that you have as many GPU's as you wish, and thereby download tons of GPU WU's? Yes, Intel GPU is supported on all OS. The problem you might be encountering is that with 9 different versions, there may not be many that allocate for intel on linux. So far it has been a small beta test and there weren't many work units going out originally. Thanks, -Uplinger I have not been able to get any intel/osx tasks in any of these betas. And it's not for lack of trying. My machine is asking as fast as possible without running afoul of the mandatory backoff. |

Hehe, 8000 work units lasted less than 40 minutes. Edit:I wonder if some people here are running those "hacked" BOINC versions, with which you can trick the server to think that you have as many GPU's as you wish, and thereby download tons of GPU WU's? This is a thing? Wow... and i thought cheating in online games was a problem... |

Hehe, 8000 work units lasted less than 40 minutes. wow, that's amazing. assuming CPU time in the log file is in seconds, 110 seconds per job on my 1060 and 47 seconds per job on my 3070. Macromancer |

How many people worldwide are doing this. 8k in 40 minutes is not hard to believe. 1k crunchers, 8 tasks each, gone. JMHO Never heard of a GPU hack for BOINC. Any links?
