I have my first 013 so we are now about 7% through the project.

Good evening,
As mentioned in the mini-updates from the researchers. We are increasing the rate of workunits going out. Previously it was capped at 4,000 work units. This has been bumped up to 6,000 to make sure all systems can handle the rate. Mini-update post: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...ead,42064_offset,0#628443 Thanks, -Uplinger |

Presuming you're talking 4,000 originals, in quorum 2, 8,000, the actual validations are substantially behind those, ballpark 6,000 average the last 18 days, more or less commensurate with the OPN1 launch when before the average was about 7,600. Upping it to 6,000 (12,000 quorum 2) will be interesting to watch. The problem seems to be more of getting results back in a decent time rather than out for the next iteration to be generated.

I agree with Lavaflow. With availability substantially more than current returns, perhaps it is time to have them permanently available instead of randomly.

With 014's flowing, we would be at 7.7% of project.

With the introduction of OPN1, we saw ARP1 results slow down. I'm monitoring the supply/demand. We may even increase the supply sent out further, but since we are only creating 125 every 30 minutes, having it random still allows all members a fair shot at getting results.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

I'm backing off FAH2 and moving most of my threads to ARP1. Hoping to increase to 250 per day.

Even after the launch of OPN1, I keep the same number of simultaneously computed ARP1 WUs identical but I did not receive many ARP1 WUs during the last couple of weeks. It started again at the week beginning (1-2 June) to receive more ARP1 work. There was some distribution slow down however on my side there was no request slow down since OPN1 launch. Cheers, Yves |

I have 1 on each of my computers. 1 is in que 3 days 8hrs (but only takes 12hrs to do) ryzen 3900x. The other is on an OLD 1.8 ghz pentium and is running for another 2 days. As long as the slow one can still help, I will keep it going. 3950x coming by fall here. I am just happy to be of help.
