Re: Work Available

Looks like Mike was right on the 146 gen time. Thanks for letting us know gj82854. So nice to see the project making progress and being able to see it.

Re: Work Available

Generation 147 has now started to be populated with validated units from generation 146.

Each generation seems to be taking about 2 weeks.

Re: Work Available

I would think that each successive generation should take slightly less time than the one before due to stuck work units.

Re: Work Available

The daily rates are variable, both in and out, but across the last few generation they have varied around 2 weeks.

Re: Work Available

Sunday Report

Normal classification has moved on to 147 but the others have stayed put due to stuck units..

All 1,943 units in generations up to and including 143 seem stuck and have probably been joined by 14 from generation 144.

There are 4813 normal units in generation 145 & 28,020 in 146 which are the current generations..

We are now 9% of the way through generation 146.

There are now 829 units held in generation 147.

14,510 units have validated in the week, but there are 1,341,019 units to go.

Based on the last 5 weeks, we would complete ARP1 in February 2027. However, improvements seem to be coming until July, but we are currently out of new work.

Re: Work Available

Had a kind of nice supply of ARP1 WUs over the last week or so, but it stopped before the last weekend. Only today, I got a _4 resend and that exhibit an old problem that seemed to have been fixed by the end of last year: download of the (large) WU files got stuck.

I was able to manually coax all files to finally download, after repeatedly hitting the retry button, but it required a lot of retries to finally get all the parts and being able to start that one single WU.

I hope that this is not a sign that we are heading back to those "days of old" with constant retries again... confused sad

Ralf

The very large file that you refer to - was that the file that only needs to be downloaded if you have already uploaded the previous unit?

I suspect we haven't reverted to last year's problem.

Re: Work Available

A distinct lack of anything for my computer recently. started getting MCM tasks for phone again recently. Hopefully after tests seemed to go OK there will be some CPDN work for Linux hosts late this week or sometime next week for those getting withdrawal symptoms.

Re: Work Available

And back in action with several 146 tasks yesterday afternoon and today. I noticed several needed nudging to get all the downloads to complete.

Re: Work Available

ARP1_0000610_146 23.23 / 23.23 granted credit 642.7

ARP1_0000274_146 24.58 / 24.58 granted credit 663.1

Now the supply seems to have dried up for the moment.

Cheers
