No, the batches are processed out of order, it's been like this since the beginning.

Weren't some of them processed in the very beginning of the project and then stopped and the rest pushed to the end? Research page has January of 2020 as the estimated end date but it seems like it shouldn't take that long. 200 batches at 100000 per batch is 20000000 divided by 60000 per day should be less than a year if we were starting from today. I think it should be over by the end of this year unless there is a significant downturn in OET1 participation. Once I get my 100 year badge on MIP, I'll probably work 100% on OET1. I'm only returning about 400 per day now.

@Doneske I agree with you. If you are wanting another badge I would suggest coming over now. I need another 590 days at my current rate it's going to take more about 138 to get there. Hopefully I will make it. If not I hope we can complete the project. I am aware this post is slightly off topic

We still have to wait a little, to get those "averages of OET OM WU" sorted out...in a month or two we will be more sure about ECD.

I am aware that the research page has the most accurate % complete which is currently 66. I was wondering is it possible to get an accurate idea of how many work units are remaining? We are currently looking at finishing this around 30/3/20 The 200 batches must certainly be very big that we are currently working on

I have been trying to track these last remaining batches and so far we have completed about 27 since I started tracking. I think there are somewhere around 100,000 WUs in a batch. We seem to be completing a batch in about 4 to 5 days. Based on a 200 known batch starting point, I think we should complete this series in about 40 to 50 days. Just as a sanity check, If there are 100,000 WUs in a batch and we return about 55,000 per day average (last 30 days) with a quorum of 2, that's about 4 days per batch so that checks out. Only time will tell if I'm even within a light year of being correct.

Thank you for the information. I am interested to know how you come up with there are 10,000 units per batch? Here is how I understand how far through a batch we are.
----------------------------------------Taking the example OET1_0001150_xMBGP-OM_rig_74811 I would say we are on batch 0001150 and that we are on unit number 74811. This is a completed work unit |
