Okay, the end of day statistics process has run for the 8th. First impression is that the stats for the 8th are correct. It does not look like any "automatic" correction occurred for the 7th. Checking Global Statistics, the numbers there do not look to be dramatically off to the extent of missing half a day's crunching for everyone. However, looking at my individual user stats (My Contribution), I'm not seeing the second half of the day for the 7th getting included - yet. In terms of team statistics, those are clearly missing the second half of the 7th. Overall, until the stats are corrected to include the second half of the 7th, all cumulative numbers are off and inaccurate. This is clearly a mess we are going to have to wait for the admins to NOTICE and correct ( since the monitoring isn't working ). So, we're just going to have to chill until tomorrow and wait for the admins to deal with this then.

I agree keithhenry - we're not 'out of the woods' yet - as the stats for the second half of Saturday, certainly doesn't appear to have been added on.

I don't know if it's normal or not.

I don't know if it's normal or not. Depends on the batch apparently, but this is normal behavior, seen this quite often, not just since the other day... Until October 7, I could see the % move slowly. Since the 8th morning, the % advance but by jump (0 => 4,000% => 7,600% => 12,333% => etc). I do not understand, The total points / hours for 07/10/1017 show
10/07/2017 0:003:03:34:45 5,911 I run my PC with 38-42 hours on Shutdown PC on alternates night. Normally, hours / points are around 10/03/2017 0:008:01:07:19 27,288 Would like to hear what happened and when are the missing hours / points going to be corrected? Failure from the support team to acknowledge that something is awry. Would like to hear from support team. This is not being confrontational, merely asking what is happening? |

noon update has come and gone - it seems to be ok - but still missing 1/2 day from Saturday!!!

What's odd is that both Boinc Stats and Free-DC are showing what I'd expect in the way of points for Saturday.I usually get around the 24k mark and on Saturday that's what I got!

Hello WCG, it'd be nice for us to get an acknowledgement that you've even seen this (and all the other threads) regarding this issue - as there's a lot of people questioning the stats.

Isn't it Columbus Day in parts of the USA? That might apply to WCG staff. From past experience, I'm sure the stats will get fixed when they're back at work, but we might all have to wait another day

Pete Not at all surprising, considering that the WCG local 'converted to points' stats is a different process to the 6 hourly exports for the 3rd party stats-sites which runs in BOINC credits.
