And here I thought it was to help Parents get their kids to (Stop Running Around).
----------------------------------------No problems with the WU's on this end. Linux and/or various flavors of Win (XP to 7). |

82 are valid or PV, 6 haven't run yet, 1 errored (as mentioned before on page 1).
----------------------------------------Of the completed WUS, 6 were 1 1/2 ~ 2 hours, 18 were 1 ~ 1 1/2 hours, the rest were under an hour. |

I've had three units that I had to abort due to them becoming stuck. All the others ran fine but those three ran fine at firt then hit a brick wall and even after 5-6 hours had not moved even 0.00001% further on. So after they had been running for around 24hrs I aborted them.
----------------------------------------BETA_SRA1_0000000_Bct-A_28622 BETA_SRA1_0000000_Bct-A_28982 (Which went to valid on two other machines with less than 1 hr cpu time used) BETA_SRA1_0000000_Bct-A_28992 The machine they failed on is a little older, but for all other projects and work units is a faultless performer, giving zero errors. Other units were running at the same time (betas and FAAH2 and Zika) and they all finished fine, so I don't think it was a machine glitch. Edit: All three of those units subsequently crunched fine in about 1hr for others. (Windows machines) [Edit 1 times, last edit by widdershins at Jan 17, 2017 9:21:05 AM] |

Got about 90 WUs, mostly Linux, only 8 for Windows 7.
----------------------------------------At this time, the project seems to run very smoothly, no incident, no error, reasonable computation time (between 30 minutes and 75 minutes for Phenom II x6 at 2.8 resp. 3.2 GHz, i7 4770K at 3.5 GHz, i7 6700K at 4 GHz). It looks like that it is a nice pre-launch. The granted credits seem to be a little behind OET1 and Zika. Cheers, Yves |

59 beta SRA1 jobs processed so far. I am seeing a 100% variance in run times when looking at individual machines. No problems seen so far.
----------------------------------------I like the guess by roundup and Apis Tintinnambulator: Stop Resistance to Antibiotics. It fits the evidence well and sure sounds like a WCG naming. I have 3 family members working in hospitals and it is research that is very much needed. Those superbugs might be the end of us all. Cheers |

I'm only getting 8 at a time - 8 cores 8 tasks? - it's like pulling teeth - very hard to get them! like HSTB - I can't seem to get enough of them!

No problems so far with my 5 wu's on Windows 10.
Nice thinking of Apis Tintinnambulator. But the resistance of the bacteria is a major problem. So maybe it is called Solving the Resistance to Antibiotics. But probably your guess is as good as it is. |
