New project moniker -might- be SRA1, but given the last time curve ball to left field, no assuredness. :O)

Got 10, all appeared to run with no problems. Linux Mint Xeon e5410 and 5320. 30 to 65 minutes.

I've crunched 13 so far with no issues. They've run between 70 and 120 minutes duration. I have moved them all to the front of the queue as soon as I see them. I have 20 more in the pipeline.

Had 4 pass the old laptop test with no problem, 2-4 hours on Linux with a 5th PV. Have several more waiting in queue on Androids.

SRA = Self-Referencing Acronym ![]() Now that I like! Still, you got me curious. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia SRA may refer to: The National Center for Biotechnology Information's Sequence Read Archive (previously known as the Short Read Archive) SRA, a particular type of Semiregular variable star Suicide risk assessment Satanic ritual abuse Spoon River Anthology Seamless Rate Adaptation, a feature of the ADSL2 data communication technology Senior Airman (SrA), a rank within the United States Air Force Square root approximation SRA0 to SRA4 are ISO 217 standard paper sizes Surveillance radar approach, a type of non-precision approach in aviation. Señora, a Spanish title for a woman is abbreviated "Sra." The English equivalent is "Mrs." SRA-shooting, Sovellettu reserviläisammunta, Finnish practical shooting sports. Superhuman Registration Act, the (fictitious) law that requires superhumans to register their identities, created by Marvel Comics Serotonin releasing agent Stratford station, a railway interchange in London, United Kingdom Sonic Rush Adventure, a video game for the Nintendo DS The first one is no slam dunk but, if you read more about it, there's a lot of data in it that might be open to some further analysis. Also from Wikipedia: The Sequence Read Archive (SRA, previously known as the Short Read Archive) is a bioinformatics database that provides a public repository for DNA sequencing data, especially the "short reads" generated by High-throughput sequencing, which are typically less than 1,000 base pairs in length.[1] The archive is part of the International Nucleotide Sequence Database Collaboration (INSDC), and run as a collaboration between the NCBI, the European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), and the DNA Data Bank of Japan (DDBJ). The archive was established by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in 2007 in order to provide a repository for data produced by RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq studies as well as large-scale studies including the Human Microbiome Project and the 1000 Genomes Project.[1][2] Originally called the Short Read Archive, the name was changed in anticipation of future sequencing technologies being able to produce longer sequence reads.[3] The SRA has grown rapidly since 2008.[4] As of 2011, most SRA sequence data was produced by Illumina's Genome Analyzer.[5] The volume of data deposited in the Sequence Read Archive has grown rapidly. As of September 2010, 65% of the SRA was human genomic sequence, with another 16% relating to human metagenome sequence reads.[6] Much of this data was deposited through the 1000 Genomes Project. In June 2011, the data contained within the SRA passed 100 Terabases of DNA in volume.[2] The preferred data format for files submitted to the SRA is the BAM format, which is capable of storing both aligned and unaligned reads.[6] Internally the SRA relies on the NCBI SRA Toolkit, used at all three INSDC member databases, to provide flexible data compression, API access and conversion to other formats such as FASTQ.[5] NCBI announced their plan to close the NCBI SRA in February 2011 due to funding reduction.[2][7] However, EBI and DDBJ announced that they would continue to support the SRA.[8] In October 2011, NCBI announced continuation of funding for the SRA.[2] Deposition of data in the SRA is mandated by most funding agencies and open access journals. Nature Publishing Group journals require that DNA and RNA sequencing data is made available through the SRA.[9] Note: The above and 1USD will buy you any size "coffee" and McDs ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by keithhenry at Jan 15, 2017 12:33:14 AM] |

Got 252 WUs until now: 210 valid, 36 in PV, 4 in PVer, and 2 in progress. This is on a mix of openSUSE 42.1 and 42.2. Looking excellent so far!

No problems on Android 6.0.1 and 5.1.1. Have a couple in progress on 4.4.2.
