Well my brother is 6 years younger than me and no doubt is faster than me!!! Could that have to do with the '1955' in your name? Since specs same (you have a wider screen to break) The HSTB must have huge and very huge work units ---- it has been over 6 months since I had single one!111h I'll keep the screen. Too big to break.Very little separates our Lenovos, so they should perform similarly, or? I have a whole milk WU running with 24:45:00 elapsed and 14:32:50 remaining ~ 39 + in total before it's done. I have another running at 11:55:30 elapsed and 07:48:20 remaining = just 20 hour when finished. Very fast. That's a skim milk one. Not sure I met them before. Do you think the long processing time could be due to some heavy use of the keyboard? 1955 is a factor, although I am in better shape than I was 5 years ago. 5mile walks at 4.2 mph each day does that to you! Thank god I was never a runner, hip or knee replacement would be a definite possibility. keyboard use does not affect performance much... Watching videos does. MY SL410 Runs at 100 percent Wcg and the average stats are 8-10 GFLOPS. |

4.2 mph = 6.76 km/h
5 miles = 8.05 km I'm a walker as well. My daily numbers are lower. So is my 1955 I'll keep typing. The rest is hmong to me but thank you for trying, dcs1955 I'm afraid we pushed this off topic. I usually live at Base Camp - and you? Does University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign have a team thread? |

My 36 hr T300 work unit was immediately validated by validating its pair completed 3 days ago! Far cry of other projects that work could be in PV for a week.

I am suspicious that the "sweet time" for nabbing HSTB work has changed yet again. The flow has restarted, but I am no longer getting anything at xx:17/:xx47. Has anyone noticed a new "sweet time"?

I am suspicious that the "sweet time" for nabbing HSTB work has changed yet again. The flow has restarted, but I am no longer getting anything at xx:17/:xx47. Has anyone noticed a new "sweet time"? One problem I have with answering your question is that HST work units have such gawdawful names that I cannot remember. So when I examine the log files, I cannot tell which downloads are HST. I receive very few HST work units ever. Now my boinc client requests WCG work units at xx:17/:xx47, but it also requests work units whenever it feels needy. So when did it get the only HST work unit I have received in the last month or so? Here are recent [World Community Grid] downloads that were followed by running an HST work unit. Was it downloaded in this batch? 18-Jun-2018 00:45:2018-Jun-2018 00:45:20 Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 18-Jun-2018 00:45:20 Requesting new tasks for CPU 18-Jun-2018 00:45:23 Scheduler request completed: got 5 new tasks 18-Jun-2018 00:45:25 Started download of 627312971db4170cf3265c94c8f5ed49.pdbqt 18-Jun-2018 00:45:25 Started download of c751250f60637170b2c1a026fee13285.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:28 Finished download of 627312971db4170cf3265c94c8f5ed49.pdbqt 18-Jun-2018 00:45:28 Finished download of c751250f60637170b2c1a026fee13285.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:28 Started download of 0fa80b0d8b8252bfe5b0b8bee506d65d.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:28 Started download of d3a5aadcb4e53444190341b6338969f8.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:31 Finished download of 0fa80b0d8b8252bfe5b0b8bee506d65d.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:31 Finished download of d3a5aadcb4e53444190341b6338969f8.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:31 Started download of 7f12fd39af49a721b7af3056bcdc2114.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:31 Started download of 67ab0e08bbf934aab851bb4157ce6da7.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:34 Finished download of 7f12fd39af49a721b7af3056bcdc2114.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:34 Finished download of 67ab0e08bbf934aab851bb4157ce6da7.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:34 Started download of 04776abf8a1ecf04c1985f1e111ad78c.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:34 Started download of ab95c54dfe68d8d79cd93e2f9c761849.pdbqt 18-Jun-2018 00:45:37 Finished download of 04776abf8a1ecf04c1985f1e111ad78c.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:37 Finished download of ab95c54dfe68d8d79cd93e2f9c761849.pdbqt 18-Jun-2018 00:45:37 Started download of 5a73326b6123356e2e949a9a439cb9fc.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:37 Started download of 4b3f17068b57967ca2f210e5076e499c.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:40 Finished download of 5a73326b6123356e2e949a9a439cb9fc.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:40 Finished download of 4b3f17068b57967ca2f210e5076e499c.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:40 Started download of e3e6d7dace7dc485db046515bbf87a40.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:40 Started download of b0fe6d12e536034b4f0c7e5bcf69f88e.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:43 Finished download of e3e6d7dace7dc485db046515bbf87a40.job 18-Jun-2018 00:45:43 Finished download of b0fe6d12e536034b4f0c7e5bcf69f88e.zip 18-Jun-2018 00:45:43 Started download of 8849ed26c28b95a7ea9386f377f7f22d.pdbqt 18-Jun-2018 00:45:47 Finished download of 8849ed26c28b95a7ea9386f377f7f22d.pdbqt 18-Jun-2018 00:47:15 update requested by user 18-Jun-2018 00:47:19 Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. 18-Jun-2018 00:47:19 Not requesting tasks: don't need 18-Jun-2018 00:47:22 Scheduler request completed 18-Jun-2018 00:54:17 Computation for task OET1_0001158_xMBGP-OM_rig_85020_0 finished 18-Jun-2018 00:54:17 [World Community Grid] Starting task HST1_015833_000068_AC0034_T001_F00071_S00046_1 using hst1 version 726 in slot 1 |

Cheers No, but not many around to sample. The 18 still on my results pages are around xx:17 and xx:47 or auto-retries thereof 2 minutes later. I am running FAHB and HST with .3 day cache so always asking for HST. Not many around at the moment, WUprop shows only 30 in progress. (that's only from those of us in WUprop). http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/active_projects.py Paul.

I am running FAHB and HST with .3 day cache so always asking for HST. I get so few that there are no HST entries on my results page. I am running SCC1, OpenZIKA, and HST, and getting mostly OpenZika. I will turn off OpenZika when it gets up to 180 days, which should be in the next few days. |
