I just noticed that the Research Overview page is now showing February 2017 as the estimated completion date for the OpenZika project.
----------------------------------------The API gives 2017-02-18 to be exact, but I am sure that date will change daily. Time to get crunching and get this project finished! Cheers Update: The researchers have revised their estimate number of batches for this project and the Research Overview page has been updated accordingly. See posts from Seippel and jhindo for full explanation. [Edit 1 times, last edit by NixChix at Dec 13, 2016 2:55:58 AM] |

That user is big enough to influence the outcome date of the project. Cheers

The crunching capacity coming off the now ending Uncovering Genome Mysteries project has got to go somewhere, and some is going to be applied to the OpenZika project (like mine). Depending on the length of the running average that is used to calculate that estimated end date we will soon see the effect of the end of UGM on that date Cheers |

Completion date may change, it can be more but not less.
----------------------------------------I ticked ZIKA but apparently these few days the job sent already maxed out I'm getting other research (AIDS). I don't want these so I ticked MCM. So now I'm getting mostly MCM with ZIKA thrown in here and there. WCG has certain limit on work unit per day (based on multiple factors). oh well. |
