Greetings,
I have started the 20k steps and 50k steps in a work unit. I have also changed the deadline dates to 4 days. Thanks, -Uplinger |

I have started the 20k steps and 50k steps in a work unit. I have also changed the deadline dates to 4 days. Batch 999997 = 20k Batch 999998 = 50k ... and the run times increase proportional. |

Just received a few from batch 993 but not 997 or 998. Stragglers from earlier batches still around I assume?

Just received a few from batch 993 but not 997 or 998. Stragglers from earlier batches still around I assume? We are still doing many generation of the other batches. So you will still see from 991-998. As Crystal mentioned, 997 will have 20k steps and 998 will have 50k steps. batches 991-996 have 10k steps. Many generations will run so we can see how the replica exchange is going and that the results are working properly. I have been sending the results back to the researchers daily for their review. Thanks, -Uplinger |

The deadlines for the next generation workunits get a deadline of 4 days too,
----------------------------------------where the 1st generation had a 2 day deadline (batches 991-996). 7th generation (of batch 991) is the highest generation I've seen so far. Edit: Expectably the longer running WU's cause discrepancies in claimed and so granted credits. Example: BETA_FAH2_999991_avx38781_000009_000088_005_0-- rk1 Valid 10/27/16 14:50:09 10/27/16 17:21:59 2.27 /2.27 48.8 /48.8 BETA_FAH2_999998_avx38788_000003_000090_001_0-- rk1 Valid 10/27/16 19:26:44 10/28/16 07:28:59 11.25 /11.27 60.9 /60.9 [Edit 1 times, last edit by Crystal Pellet at Oct 28, 2016 7:46:25 AM] |

Yeeesh! I've managed to get almost five dozen betas in the last 24 hours from batches 995-998 with as high as generation six. I've gotten almost 18 days of runtime on just this beta. Talk about your feast or famine! I'm half-tempted to temporarily opt out of beta so I can get some real work done. Too bad I'm only 14 days past gold. Making gold took forever. I may not live long enough to make ruby (unless they keep running FAH2 betas! )

Hey,
I'm a little intrigued. Are there a lot more WUs for linux or a lot more WUs per host on Linux? Threadwise, I run about 40% linux, but with this Beta I have been getting about 2 windows WUs but 90 linux ones! Beta is set to run on all of my profiles too. I run 64 bit on all my machines if that helps. |
