Crystal, I ran the grantCredit script, please let me know if you notice a change for that result. Thanks, -Uplinger Keith, the 10 "Too Late"'s have been granted. I was more worrying about the missing 'Valid' state than the credits. Normally all BETA's will get credit sometime. 3 are in Pending Validation state. I see your new batch 999991 have the 2-day deadline now. The missing valid state is not an issue. I have decided to abandon trying to clean up 999990. To speed up the testing I released 999991. I will be utilizing this batch for the asyncre testing. Also, the validator is currently stopped. I am going to clean that up in a bit and it'll be running again. Thanks, -Uplinger |

All my units from batch 999991 have completed in 1.1 to 1.2 hours (Win 10), all with 10000 steps complete.

Some second generation workunits after asyncre ran have been sent out. Can be recognized by the 002 in the task name, I suppose: BETA_FAH2_999991_avx38781_000001_000092_002_0 |

That would be correct.

I have recently added another batch to the testing. This is batch 999992. Also, since asyncre is running non stop, 3rd generations have been going out as well. The indexing of these workunits is manual at this time, so work will trickle out on an odd schedule.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

This is a minor comment about consistency. For a checkpoint, the Result Log says
[23:30:34] INFO: Checkpointed. Progress 1000 of 10000 steps complete CPU time 393.484375When a checkpoint is skipped (my "checkpoint at most every" setting is 300 sec), it says [23:33:52] INFO: Checkpoint skipped. Progress 1500/10000 CPU time 585.453125In case anyone needs to parse those logs, it would make their lives easier if the formatting & wording were consistent. The units I received from batch 999992 have all run in 1.0h to 1.2h and turned Valid. |

... Also, since asyncre is running non stop, 3rd generations have been going out as well. I've seen from batch 999991 4 tasks of 3rd generation and 3 tasks of 4th generation. My impression is that the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation tasks are using about 10% more CPU than the 1st generation. |

I didn't expect a 5th generation task: BETA_FAH2_999991_avx38781_000002_000092_005_0

We are going to be doing many generations for this test. So far things are looking good. I will be doing a test with 20,000 steps and 50,000 steps also. Once I start the larger workunits the deadline will move back to 4 days for beta for all work units.
Thanks, -Uplinger |
