Also getting a much better supply of WU's. but a few are taking just over 20 hours of runtime.

I give up. Too much hassle having to be around to hit Update. Seems most of the WUs seem to be snapped up by those with farms or just plain lucky. Haven't had a single WU since the project started and that's with leaving my PC only set to receive HSTB and no other BOINC projects for four weeks Back to FAH2 - good luck with this folks. +1 |

I'm finally getting enough WU to keep my two computers (both Macs) busy processing HST. I have a total of 12 threads. Even though I get only HST units, I throw in some OET once in a while to provide a safety factor. I don't get new HST each time, but I get them often enough to allow me to request only HST, usually about 10-20 WU per day.

I got like 4 or 5 loads of HST,

laptop and desktop dedicated to HSTB. Most of the time both idle. With 3 now on the laptop may be enough for bronze. After that, I'll start working on something else.

Yesterday I changed both my "Minimum work buffer" and "Maximum additional work buffer" from 0.2 days to 1.0 days. Had them set to minimum because I just wanted to have what I'm working on on the PC. Since then, I'm getting all kinds of Help Stop TB WUs. Either changing that setting helped, or the logjam finally broke free.

Either changing that setting helped, or the logjam finally broke free. I think it was your changing the setting. I'm still getting 10-20 WU per day, but that is enough to keep my two computers busy.
