The oldest runing NUC i have has runed 24/7 starting week before Christmas so I can calculate an average for the last 28 days on it. :)
----------------------------------------I have added it now https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Gl-pM...rNY5fNQiR_5--c/edit#gid=0 [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 14, 2016 11:50:26 AM] |

Thank you Pirre_eu
----------------------------------------The chart uses Boinc points so I did a rough adjustment as you do not show your machine on the stats sites like free -dc If you go to My Contribution>Settings>My Profile and sign in, then towards the bottom of the page you will see the checkbox option to "Show Hosts". If you check that, then within about 24 hours, your individual machines will show on the various stats sites like: http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=user&proj=bwcg&name=857504 http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/2730644/overview then we can get the accurate numbers in place ![]() |

I have done that now.
The device name for the NUC I calculated is server. The divice named WCG is same NUC-modell with same hardware but have much shorter uptime. I also change the profiles today for the final rush for mapping cancer and uncover genome mysteries so all my devices just do this 2 from today till their endings in autumn. |

Thought I would take some measurements on my Motorola Xoom for fun. It has a Nvidia Tegra 2 processor (dual core at 1Ghz). It has averaged 1,489.77 points per day over the last 30 days doing a mix of OET and Zika, I would say more OET than Zika. It uses 1.6W after the battery is topped off according to a Kill a Watt. So, 1,489.77 PPD/1.6W = 931.1 PPW. Did I do that right? My OUYA has a Tegra 3 processor (quad core at 1.7Ghz). It has been pretty much running continuously for almost two years. Last 30 day average is 3,843.17 PPD with a mix of OET and Zika. I rarely check on the device (because switching my TV input to HDMI 2 and turning on the controller is hard ;)). I'm guessing the power usage is around ~10W, maybe lower. I will have to check if the CPU is throttling due to the summer heat.

Other than the point that the chart uses Boinc points I think you got the gist of it.
----------------------------------------You can get your Boinc ppd from here: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/15/host/list/0/0/618674/1 If a machine has run for a long time then use the RAC figure or the Credit Month /30 if it only ran that long. Your dual core ARM cpu is then averaging 246ppd using 1.6w for 153.75 points per watt. If you would like it added to the chart then fill in the new entry page: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Gl-pM...rNY5fNQiR_5--c/edit#gid=0 ![]() |

That makes more sense, here I thought I had a super efficient ARM chip from 2011.

My droids are averaging 103 PPW.
Is this good, bad or mediocre? |
