I've got 19 Box's that won't report work, works okay for other Projects though ...

Good old HTTPS step, that's the WCG difference. Set some additional HTTP log flags in cc_config.xml to get detail debug info.

Welp I restarted 1 Box, when that didn't work I reset my Router & then the Comcast Modem. still get the: Server error: feeder not running & the Wu's still won't Report on any of my Box's ...

a few of my machines are also reporting feeder not running. It doesn't make much sense to me since they are all on the same router/network

This appears to be intermittent. Sometimes I get this error, sometimes this is successful. As usual it does a retry on its own, but this retry can eventually be scheduled hours later allowing work to run out.

I saw it earlier today, it eventually cleared itself up. And I am seeing it again. Would be nice if this is addressed.

Howdy,

I just looked at the feeder and scheduler and they are showing things going through as normal. I am going to stop them as well as httpd and let them restart here to see if that helps.

Mine all reported, don't know if what you did was the problem or not but they jsut started to report 20 Min's or so ago ... Thanks ... I'm getting new work too ...

I was getting the "Server error: feeder not running" nastygram sad

. I rebooted the machine and guess what? I'm still getting the "feeder not running" msg and obviously not getting any downloads either crying

. So somebody please give the feeder some shoes so it can run tongue

All 5 of my "big" crunchers along with a couple of my mid crunchers. I will run out of work for a couple of them in about 10 hours, hopefully it will be resolved by then

My machine that was experiencing the issue cleared out the results and downloaded a number of new tasks at 7:53 this morning.

My additional buffer is now full (and then some). Hopefully it will be enough to cover against the next time this occurs.
