Re: Welcome to Outsmart Ebola Together Project

The project was 90%+ complete, then suddenly dropped to 65%, that would have to have been one hell of a wu.

Re: Welcome to Outsmart Ebola Together Project

Instead of 1,800 wu per day I'm down to 80-100 wu per day.

Re: Welcome to Outsmart Ebola Together Project

Fill a litre jug 90% full, and reduce the inflow to a few drops a day, does not alter the fill level of the jar.

Re: Welcome to Outsmart Ebola Together Project

Except the jar is measured in computing years: It was 90% on the input of a WU taking 3 hours. Now the remaining WU are going to take for instance 20 hours. Now that the remaining WU's runtime is known, the estimated project runtime ballooned such that the 90% of WU done really was 65% of total project estimated runtime i.e. a re-calibration of the scale.

Re: Welcome to Outsmart Ebola Together Project

So the comment I made above concerning the technique applies.
