Yep, I'll add this new project to see how these OET WUs work in production. I just had one beta OET work sort of normally, but acted more like what I saw with CEP2 WUs where things restarted when my computer restarted. I'll give it a try anyway and see if I can get work done on my laptop when I run it at night. If it acts like the CEP2 WUs, I may only be able to run it on weekends when I'm up from Friday night through Monday morning working on stuff.
This project is for a very good cause. Ebola has been causing too many problems in Africa and the rest of the world for too long now.... |

Wow, I really did not expect the new project to be about Ebola and related viruses.
----------------------------------------COnsidering how long it usually takes from submiting a proposal to approval and launch. Surely this project was fast-tracked? But I am glad it is. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

"• Please review the system requirements before opting to participate in this project " The requirements are not exciting, unless the runtime on some single task workunits is meant, for which a footnote would be needed. I assumed it was because of the lack of checkpointing since the system requirements have the "LAIM is recommended" footnote for this project. But that was just based off the beta forums, some indication of that being the case on the project page would be nice. |
