Good to see a new project designed to developing a vaccine for this deadly virus.
I learned about this new project when I logged in to WCG to check my contribution in CE2. Why not announce this new project by sending out a broadcast email to all crunchers? Clive |

Why not announce this new project by sending out a broadcast email to all crunchers? I received an e-mail earlier on today - so perhaps, one is slowly winging its way to you.PS. when new projects are launched, they're usually done in "stealth" mode for the first few days - so as to iron out any issues that may have slipped through the Beta testing. No doubt, WCG/IBM have big plans for an official Press Release.  |

Why not? It depends on how many errors occured in the Beta test. I got 45 Beta wu all valid on three devices with different os, except one where the runtime exceeded the given limit. This happened a few weeks ago on fight aids too, a project that is running many years now. I got lots of Betas too. Lots of Errors or other badly behaving WUs. Or WU's that progressed 20+hrs and then Completed 25% or Errored 75%. I don't care too much about credits, but to me, it does seem like this project is not ready for production.  |

I would like to know what is the priority of this project, compared to other active projects. I know that UGM is the lowest possible & manual join in. If I have multiple projects selected, what will this project's priority be?

Read this thread and in particular uplinger's post here The reason for OET1 being slow is we have limited number of rigid work units available before we get to the flexible ones. As mentioned in the beta forums these flexible ones were taking a long time and without checkpoints. So we are working on a fix for that at the moment. Instead of getting to those flexible ones before the checkpointing is working better. |

With one rig still clearing cache and the other 4 reporting no work available for OET1 this might be something of a stuttering start for me. The weather is turning.... I need my heaters on
