Another 18 hours and those of the 10 wingman gone to waste. Why it says replication 4 when the maximum of 11 went out is another form of denial. The 3 'too late' essentially running full term but the validator finding no minimum match between any combination of 2. The dog could not find it's favorites.

Tip: Manually suspend the agent before powering down or when planning to be off mains charger for longer. You do this by clicking 'suspend' right top in the 'tasks' view. When back on charger, wait/check till way past the minimum battery level has been reached. Only then hit the 'resume' in the agent tasks view. Since sticking to that regimen, no more outright errors. Too lates have popped up the more, no 2 wingman without error having matching result needing more copies processed, till the point that all 11 copies have been distributed and no match is found. You have to watch as the 'too late' disappear pretty quick, but seemingly credit is given according what originally showed in the time/claimed columns of the result status page. Useless results nevertheless.
We need a <start_delay> control same as on pcs as it seems the busy powerup/coming out of sleep time is another big source of incurring signal 11 overload errors, nothwithstanding the cpu percent load pause setting. Even at 30% it happens, allowing only 2 of 4 threads. If not an preference control, at least a default selectable delay of n minutes so the device can settle down before trying to compute on. Maybe the technicians have some say in this with the developers and put their foot square with them. Was wcg not key pusher for an official boinc for android version? Today popped up a new agent 7.4.14 in google store [alpha enrolled], so you may not see it. Just gloss and social media features added just as the pc version, nothing hinting at bug fixing, no secondary value for battery to set a resume level higher then a pause level to stop alternating computing due charger not keeping up with battery drain while computing, and what that does to battery life and temperature is not known, mums the word. Maybe the technicians have some say in this with the developers and put their foot square with them. Was wcg not key pusher for an official boinc for android version? Yes they could pick up the ball they let drop so hard (based on forum response, lack thereof and zero input into the alpha test mail discussions). |

The lol factor in the new agent version is, that there will be another spike in the android contributions, all those members getting fooled into trying again after the 'update boinc' on their smartphone/tablet. Good luck.

Put one of my odroids on the projekt again. So far nor errors. 4 wu valid and 3 wu pending validation. I am using nativeboinc.

The one is running 100% load on 4 cores. In a few weeks I will switch my other 4 core devices to wcg again too.

For clarity, you're running 'nativeboinc'. It's appalling that this diy agent produces valid results when the official agent does not or with great trouble, for wcg that is. Time to dump the berkeley version, at least, now going to test and see if this is the rosetta stone for android computing. Whilst notices on the tablet is great when away, not a show stopper for me.
----------------------------------------Note: Googlestore says the last refresh was 2013-09-09 for version 0.4.4.2, but the downloaded install when loading says 0.5.9.4 also referring to 0.4.9.x. Once loaded and attaching to wcg and running, it says 'nativeboinc 7.0.36, with notices tab, where the about box again says 0.4.4.2.3b! All wcg notices of past 30 days are there. A funny is, the log shows soon a connect to berkeley to tell there's a version of theirs for 7.3.7. lol. Now running 4 fahv 7.16 and 1 buffered. Let's see if this is a experience.To add, during the install there's buttons to change the device name. Skipped that and now it's listed in thewcg device manager as 'razorg'. Your clarification is correct. I've got some more valids, some pending validation and one pending verification. No errors so far.
