Thanks. Yes, Dieter, I opened the Update Manager but there is no button to manually check for updates immediately.

I hope we're talking about the same program, on my English version it's called "Software & Updates"

Thanks. I found it and it worked.
I was able to run it but not install it. So maybe it's already installed, but I don't see the icon for it until it searches for "Software Updater". I locked it to the Launcher while it ran. I hope it will still let me know when updates are ready automatically.

Today an update is offered which does something like allow Chinese, Jpanese and Korean characters to be input.

If I never plan to use those languages is it safer to avoid this upgrade?
Or should I always upgrade to all the offered upgrades?
