We will be doing a very in depth beta test for mid job check pointing when the work to port it to the CPU version is complete.


uplinger, any rough idea - days weeks months - when this will be?

We are working with the researchers on the work unit sizes right now. As for the code changes, I do not have a rough idea yet on it. Since the researchers are taking a look at the work units first to see what can be done there to minimize the runtimes and help them be more consistent. Please remember that flex parameter being set is relatively new, so there will be some learning along the way.
