An advance notice of shutting down this project would have been nice but for WCG to go into my projects and add FAAH flat out sucks. I had selected this project only so I know I did not do this. Are you sure that you did not have "If no tasks are available for my selected projects, then send me other projects" selected? Positive. Only have opt me in to new projects selected. It didn't work anyways as my computers were dry this morning until I hit the update button. I do have the latest version of boinc.
Crunching for humanity since 2007!

As I post this, MCM is now accepting my uploads.
----------------------------------------I'll have to see if I get anything back down. Just tried it, nope, not yet. Edit: Got some FAAH. [Edit 1 times, last edit by l_mckeon at Apr 8, 2014 6:59:43 PM] |

Hi
I know what the various posts advised - it just goes to show the WCG are prejudicial towards certain projects - just because the project is more than well supported WCG is trying to lay down the law as to which projects they want supported over others - this is the crunchers decision not WCG and they have no right to down grade the MCM1 just because they cannot handle the responce from the participants my thoughts would be money is something to do with this somewhere |

Hi I know what the various posts advised I think you don't. WCG is trying to solve a problem. Just relax and everything will be ok. |

....it just goes to show the WCG are prejudicial towards certain projects The dictionary definition of "prejudice" includes: preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. The prejudice in this case is in your post rather than the actions of WCG! |

I see you care about money. Then why don't you give your money to Microsoft, maybe this enables them releasing something useful? Or not. And it's my decision to contribute computation resources to WCG or not: although I doubt the answer could be found only with such massive computations, I bet there's no chance to prove it if we don't try to. If I could, I'd like to contribute some space too (and all we actually can use this workaround, all over the World, only waiving expiration point is required, so we could simply store it for a while, having worked it up). I got not so much money, not so much space (about 10GB only), so I don't run and cry about what should WCG do with the projects they run. |
