Mapping Cancer Markers - Temporarily disabled

We have stopped sending out new work for Mapping Cancer Markers (MCM). The reason is due to the upload file system being full. By stopping this we should be able to get a larger portion of results back from FightAIDS@Home and Clean Energy Project that take up considerably less space.

We will enable MCM when we can.

Thanks for your patience,
-Uplinger

Re: Mapping Cancer Markers - Temporarily disabled

that's probably the best way to provide a short term fix to the problem. hopefully you will find a definitive way to fix it.

This post is certainly "News". Or maybe "News" is only for good news?

I have added FAAH for the time being, but I'm not getting any new tasks at all! Any thoughts?

Anthony, did you save the device profile (website) and then update in BOINC Mgr, Projects Tab?

Re: Mapping Cancer Markers - Temporarily disabled

Yes, and Yes. The weird thing is that it is only happening on the 2 machines at work. The 2 boxes at home are receiving FAAH w/u's with no problem. Very strange, but since I have already left for the night, I'll have to see what happens during the over night. It's my experience that these things tend to sort themselves out with time. BOINC is pretty good that way!
