I like the new look, but have just one minor quibble carrying over from the previous design: The plotting areas of the three bar charts in "My Statistics" are not the same width, evidently because of different numbers of significant digits in the labels along the vertical axis for each chart. My preference would be to size the charts so that the dates line up vertically across all 3 charts, precisely.

Easy solved, put the labels on the right hand side, not the left, then they all start same place on the left!

The reason the bar charts do not line up is because the bars in the chart depicting "Points Generated" are thinner, probably by one or two pixels. Probably easily fixed whenever the techs get around to it. If you had not mentioned it I would never have noticed.
----------------------------------------Edit: I looked at the page HTML code. The instructions for the charts are identical as far as I can tell. The only thing different is the link to the image source. When I line up all three images by putting each link in the url bar in a separate browser window, they all appear identically spaced, so I am at a loss as to why the middle chart renders differently. Edit 2: I am such a dolt. The reason the second chart does not line up is the prefix which denotes the values for the y-axis. The blue bordered boxes are all the same size, but since the prefixes on the y-axis are longer than the other two charts, the middle chart is shrunk (dynamically) to fit in the box. All of the prefixes line up on the left side. Cheers

Erika, I just used Chrome to create my team challenges for July. The calendar worked as expected there. I am seeing ranks on the list and detail pages match. Seems to confirm what got fixed is fixed (for me)
---------------------------------------- The main thing that still stands out in my mind are the items regarding inviting teams to a challenge. I'm sure those are still on your list. Thanks for all the work. |

However, I'd like to know why some people are affected (including like you across multiple machines, OS and browsers) and others not (still ok here on Win7-64 with both FF29 and IE11). Thanks Tony I suspect the lack of Java in both MacPC and WinRig is causing my problem. But I am not going to install it just to be able to open WCG... ![]() ![]() Crunching@Home since January 13 2000. I do not have Java installed, but all of the WCG web pages that I've just tried are still working ok in FF29 and IE11 on both Win7 64bit and Win8.1 64bit.Have you tried accessing directly in the browser, i.e. entering the URL, as well as via the My Grid button on the Project tab in BOINC Manager? I ask because that seemed to give different success/failure results for somebody on a previous occasion. |
