Can we remove the "Recruited Volunteers" section from the My Contributions page. It takes up space, and I think it is in poor taste to turn this site into a popularity contest. [sarcasm] Why don't you just add Facebook links while your are at it [/sarcasm].
----------------------------------------Also the Settings tab at the top defaults to the Communications Preferences. These settings would like rarely get changed. Instead the Settings tab should default to the Device Manager, which is where the real settings are, and the ones that get changed more frequently. ![]() |

Would it be possible to have the website upgraded to offer an option to view the website in English - as opposed to American. In particular I'd like to view the contributions history pages with dates in the proper format dd/mm/yyyy.
----------------------------------------I can fool some pages into displaying dates correctly by manually appending "?language=en_GB" to the end of the URL, but this doesn't work for all pages. The contributions history page for example then gives the correct dd/mm/yyyy for the last updated date, but the dates in the table are in en_US format. Oddly though, if you select French as the language in the drop-down at the top both the dates at the top and in the table change to dd/mm/yyyy. There are no plans to change the forum software in the near future. Thank you for your suggestions though, they are being put in the database! ErikaT |

Both my post and the one before it were about the website design, not about the forum software. |

If looking in through firefox or chrome read up on the extension called 'stylish '. Maybe you can inject your own style-sheet, where french seems to be canadian french looking at this code bit '<option value="fr_CA">Français</option>'.

There's 2 cosmetics and one -most irritating- persisting bug from whenever it was reported first by me round about when the new webdesign was introduced, all in firefox though now 32.0.2, on windows.
1) The 'world community grid' on website left top, including front page and forum has the d of grid showing with the right l bar of the d as very thin, as if overlaid by something else. When right clicking and do a view image the last d shows proper. 2) On the forums when signed in, the dark gray bar is pushed off the right side so the 'search' button sticks out further than red bar with 'forum' in it. Probably, possibly, when you'd shift that bar when signed in to align with the beginning of the red bar, the right would do too with the end of the red bar. At any rate it sticks out like a sore thumb. Then that most irritating one, again. 3) When signed in and having made a post, the screens left top changes from 'sign out' to 'log in', when clearly at bottom for the forum index screen and top of browsed threads i'm shown as being there. To sign out i have to go to either settings or my contributions. When doing that, the forum continues to show me as browsing the forums. The browser is never closed, just minimized, so if it's cookies, they're not being erased as happens on exiting the browser. |

Sorry, the picture shows pushed off the right side too, wanted to show it true size, just as wide as the website shows to prevent distortion.

The maintenance 'upgrade' of oct.12, 2014, whatever was upgraded, did not address any of the 3 points brought up. Still showing off and still showing as 'log in - join'. To demonstrate, made a reply, previewed it for spelling, and posted. Scrolled to top and made screenshot displaying the issues, i'm in, but i'm not. Maybe you need to consider an insert left top and make it 'sign out - un-join.' I'll say no more.
