i really hate to give stefan the chance to gain on me, but circumstances have made it necessary to shut down 95% of my systems for the forseeable future. you may see others in our group with similar point producing drops as we shut down everything and evacuate our area as the hurricane approaches.
----------------------------------------![]() i will probably be out of action for the next week or so until the power is back in the area. my family and friends are safe and things can be replaced. some people would look at the possible (probable) loss of twenty crunching machines as a big problem i choose to look at it as the opportunity to get twenty new crunching machines. and since stefan was kind enough to share the marks about dual core htt machines with vm emulation, i will soon be back running at speeds i never dreamed of![]() as you talk to your God, please keep us in your prayers ![]() In Memory of Dave Bell |

as you talk to your God, please keep us in your prayers ![]() I will and I am glad to know you are moving to a safer place. We all need to keep everyone around the Gulf of Mexico in our prayers -- this seems to be an unending nightmare. Edit: I wasn't real sure where you were exactly so I looked it up. Wow -- Anahuac is just across the bay from Galveston. From the looks of the track, you will be on the right-hand side of Rita when it hits landfall -- glad you are evacuating. That is the exact wrong place to be with a cat 5. Hope you, your family and your pets will all be safe. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 22, 2005 12:37:31 AM] |

I just thought I would update the team about current projections for Hurricane Rita. The National Hurricane Center just issued a revised 3-day cone chart (storm track projection) and it has the eye of the hurricane passing directly over Anahuac, Texas, on Saturday morning. This is where our team mate Parmesian lives!
