i really hate to give stefan the chance to gain on me, but circumstances have made it necessary to shut down 95% of my systems for the forseeable future. you may see others in our group with similar point producing drops as we shut down everything and evacuate our area as the hurricane approaches.

i will probably be out of action for the next week or so until the power is back in the area. my family and friends are safe and things can be replaced.

some people would look at the possible (probable) loss of twenty crunching machines as a big problem i choose to look at it as the opportunity to get twenty new crunching machines. and since stefan was kind enough to share the marks about dual core htt machines with vm emulation, i will soon be back running at speeds i never dreamed of

I just thought I would update the team about current projections for Hurricane Rita. The National Hurricane Center just issued a revised 3-day cone chart (storm track projection) and it has the eye of the hurricane passing directly over Anahuac, Texas, on Saturday morning. This is where our team mate Parmesian lives!
