Got a few resent wus still running, the others were fine. Boinc didn't show any unexpected behavior or unusual messages when the very first Betas came in. One Android wu looks like this, mine is one of the invalids:

Picked up 10 repair units over night. All 10 must have downloaded fine through my wireless as they all ran quickly and all are valid. The first batch never finished their downloads and so had to be aborted.

I got the file by right click and save as
as tonyh205 suggested but the file is still hanging in my boincmanager
I'm trying to access it from belgium

I closed boinc
went to my appdata\wcg\directory and deleted the file
Restarted boinc
retry to download the file and it worked

The file i deleted beta18_image06_7.06.tga was around 9MB the good one now is 16.7MB

Thank you for this information - there is an issue with interrupted transfers that are later resumed. We are working on getting this resolved.

And isn't it odd that the User Aborted unit with zero processing done has already been granted credit?

It is rare - but if a machine is cloned or restored from backup, then it can be aborted even though it has already been returned. But yes - it is odd.

Quick update - we have resolved this issue. There will be another beta test starting soon that is testing some sizing for FightAIDS@Home on VINA and will also retest the CDN.

Quick update - we have resolved this issue. There will be another beta test starting soon that is testing some sizing for FightAIDS@Home on VINA and will also retest the CDN.

Announced here. I've received some Beta workunits, but not all cores are full with them yet. What tests would be helpful?

Probably too late for me to say now, but while a file is downloading for this beta test, interrupt the file transfer (close the client, pull out your ethernet cable, etc) and then have the client retry the download.

Also - if there are any issues with file transfers that is what I am most interested in for the CDN portion of this beta test.
