Official stats say we're at 92% now and the end is November. As I have observed, this number seems to increment approximately every week. So according to official stats (and at the current rate), we have ~8 more weeks left (2 months).
----------------------------------------But I'm not sure whether the official stats include also the additional period of finishing resends/invalids after the last new result has been sent out. ![]() |

My burning question is this: Based on Sgt. Joe's very reasonable analysis, we started the week with about 23 days of new work remaining. We've done a few more days of works since that analysis, so we may be close to 20 days remaining. Yet no official 30 day warning from the techs. What gives? The 350,000,000 workunits were an estimate.https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ead,36146_offset,0#445500 |

I have tried to emphasize my figures are only an estimate based on the information cubes has supplied. If that number changes, of course the potential end date will change. Cheers

The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 350,000,000 from cubes.
----------------------------------------Last 30 day average results: 589,126 Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 2, 2015 Percent Complete: 97.75561% The average length of a WU is currently running about 3.64 hours. If I look at the latest batch I have received, 17104, that would be about 97.74% complete. We are at about .44 more months (approx. 14 Days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The days in the past week showed a slight decrease in work unit time from 3.57 to 4.01 hours per WU. The projected completion date has come two days closer than last week. Production was up substantially this past week going from about 4.066 million WU's to 4.515 million WU's completed. I continue to project the last WU's will be issued in the first week of October. After that there should only be re-sends due to no replies, errors, etc. The bulk of the results should be returned by the end of the second week in October with the remaining few trickling in for the next week to 10 days. So, for those wishing to complete a goal for this project, keep an eye on the batch numbers and when they get into the 17400 range, increase your cache to 5.5 to 6 days. This last week we went through about 227 batches. Since this project has a 7 day deadline this should be sufficient to maximize your WU's without overcaching and having units not meet the deadlines. Good crunching everyone. Crunch on. Cheers
