----------------------------------------April 13, 2014 Update The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 350,000,000 from cubes. Last 30 day average results: 489,734 Estimated end date using 30 day average: October 26, 2015 Percent Complete: 22.45705 % The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.57 hours. According to Uplinger's posts, this project is running at a reduced rate until the techs and the researchers figure out a way to better manage the output file sizes. It appears the number of workunits is being held to around 340,000 per day at this point. Hopefully they get a handle on the problem so Uplinger can let the floodgates open again.  Cheers

Last 30 day average results: 361,466 Estimated end date using 30 day average: May 9, 2016 Percent Complete: 23.89789 % The average length of a WU is currently running about 6.09 hours. The close of May 5 will mark the 180th day of the project, roughly 6 months. At the present rate it will be about another 2 years to finish the project. Full speed ahead.   Cheers

wow, that's certainly moved out a lot from just a few weeks ago... I was thinking the same thing. I am hoping the number can drop down as it gains higher priority in the feeder.  |

I don't think they have changed the feeder priority for MCM back to what it was. With four cancers under MCM1, that would mean 25% for each cancer and they are at around 24% right now. I am wondering if they are not going to wait until the next cancer to be run under MCM1 to see what the result sizes look like. If they go back to their previous values, they could restore the feeder priority.

At the present rate it will still be about another 2 years to finish the project. Full speed ahead. That's 4 months later than when you first started monitoring MCM production, mostly explained by the continuing drop off of the Ripple teams crunching. |
