Don't think I've seen the following issue discussed yet.
----------------------------------------This morning, I looked at some results, and found this: Project Name: Beta Test Created: 11/04/2013 17:16:50 Name: BETA_BETA_9999981_0862 Minimum Quorum: 2 Replication: 2 Result Name App Version Number Status Sent Time Time Due /Return Time CPU Time / Elapsed Time (hours) Claimed/ Granted BOINC Credit BETA_ BETA_ 9999981_ 0862_ 2-- 721 Valid 11/6/13 17:50:39 11/6/13 23:49:40 5.24 105.3 / 41.7 BETA_ BETA_ 9999981_ 0862_ 1-- 721 Valid 11/4/13 17:50:23 11/5/13 00:55:36 2.75 82.1 / 41.7 BETA_ BETA_ 9999981_ 0862_ 0-- 721 Valid 11/4/13 17:50:22 11/6/13 19:07:06 0.04 1.2 / 41.7 How is it that result _0 successfully completed the WU in 0.04 hours, and got a "Valid"? That must be one speedy PC. (My result is _1). [Edit 1 times, last edit by littlepeaks at Nov 7, 2013 6:12:37 PM] |

2) WUs marked "too late" when they shouldn't be. I wouldn't be surprised if the tech's decision about Cancelled Tasks for Beta Tests prior to 7.24 causes the Too Late result, but also note that all reported tasks will be awarded credit. No doubt you're right. I hadn't noticed the announcement. "As a result, we are also awarding credit to any errored task that is reported back as part of this beta test. This credit will be awarded twice per day for the next week or so." I'm guessing that this only works for tasks that haven't been removed from the results list yet and that uploads which get a " Result is no longer usable" message still get nothing? |
