I have loved doing beta testing, but this is not what I signed up for. 24 WU and not a single one finished across 7 machines all of which have completed many beta tasks before. This is not beta testing. Beta testing is designed to produce credible outout which can be compared to standard. THis is thousands of WU that cannot even finish. Not an efficient use of my resopurces, so I am out. Have fun. Sorry to break this to you, astrolabe, but this is EXACTLY what you signed up for along with the rest of us: finding the bugs, glitches and errors and ironing them out before they go out to the grid. I have the same problem that NixChix and others have reported. After precisely two minutes and 44 seconds the work units reset and the clock goes to 0. It's happening with all four of them on my machine. Occasionally, not regularly, a message is in the log.

I have just received 2 WU's - I did spot that the time to complete was only 4 mins when they arrived!!! - needless to say, they cycle down in time - there is no increment in completed percentage and they then restart when the time to complete has wound down to zero - starting from 4 mins again.....

My 9999980_0583_1 has kicked itself in what seems like a normal processing after suspending it and then restarting it after it had stuck at 16.859% for over 2 hours and reaching pass 3088. Elapsed time went back to around 1hour and it is now around 1hour 25mins and at 25%.

The one Beta WU running on my laptop seems to be restarting after about 4 minutes as well.

Have been able to check actually only on one of the hosts that got those betas so far and it isn't looking good.
----------------------------------------It's working on it since since morning though it states that it has only a few seconds of run time (yet) and 6h40m to completion, with 0% (zero) progress or any CPU cycles being supposedly used...  The message log is full of "Restarting Task BETA_BETA_9999983_0397_1 using beta 17 version 721" every 90 secs or so... Three more Beta tasks are still waiting to be processed on that same host, though one doesn't show up in my result status list for the beta project and that host....
