Re: Need some help here from you CA genuises!

I'm not sure what's more impressive; the stats number, or the fact that Sgt. Joe got it pretty much spot on! Nice work.

Yes, he was right on and I ran some numbers and on a full 48 hour "day" it would be like 308,500 so again, he was 'The Man" on the numbers!

Now this part I really liked. Essentially got my goals, beat one of the quad E7-8870 machines BUT I don't think I can match that top one..
I think I'd need 4GHz to do that.. crying

Lucky guess.
If it is any consolation to you, you are doing better than the top guy on a per core basis. Tough to beat 80 cores with only 48.
Cheers

It's speed and BCLK.. That E7-8870 is at 2400MHz I think with 100BCLK
I'm at 3226MHz with 107.55BCLK..
Now if I could get my fast gaming memory to work with these IB xeons I could cut the gap a bit more..They worked with the SB xeons in this same board but will not work with IB xeons.. sad

Broke 100,000 BOINC or 700,000 WCG points at 6am today.
60 hours after starting WCG,
That took a week on my SR2 system with 2-X5680 6 core westmere's

It is probably the ratio of autodock units to vina units went up. The vina units are much more efficient on Linux than the autodock units.

I see you were 5th now, but the only things in front of you were all 80 core rigs. Well done.

Mixed feelings here.. I'm doing just the FAAH project and in my experience your point awards stay pretty close but not on this project.
It's hard to get a handle on what your getting or supposed to get..
Then I look and see it like you did and say yes, the sucker is doing pretty good for 2 sockets..I don't know what to think! confused
