Just checked and had 14 completed WU all in the 57-59 minute range..Looking good so far.. Dave the Linux n00b ![]() Now you are going to ROCK Cheers My friend, I ran some numbers at my WCG page on completed WU to see what I would get in a day. All I will say right now is that top machine at WCG, the $30,000 Enterprise class 40 core/80 thread monster, he is in trouble and I mean DEEP trouble. I'd say the numbers I came up with but god's truth, many here would call me a liar so i will just let it run a few days and people can see for themselves. I almost had to call my cardiologist whenI saw the potential daily number it was so huge! ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Movieman at Nov 2, 2013 12:35:20 AM] |

Just using some rounding and if you had a pure vina environment would give 48 jobs running at once, for 24 hours would give about 1150 completed jobs. Right now today I am averaging about 38 points per hour on my faster machine, so lets say you are getting 40 points per hour. This would lead to about 46000 BOINC points per day or about 322,000 WCG points per day. I know the autodock units are not as efficient so if there are a lot of them, that will knock the figures down a bit, but maybe you are doing even better than I think you are. Like others, I will be waiting to see the actual results. Cheers

Well, now that I have not just finished but validated WU's that first number looks to be a three and not that little a 3 but I'm still happy as a pig in sh...ahh, bovine excrement..

Sure am happy to see that on day 1
----------------------------------------I seem to have some of the work that you had when you started the thread. Wu's run much longer but are not getting any extra points.... all rigs the same: example October average 19,229.71 ppd Yesterday 10,198 ppd with a 030:23:59:11 runtime Previous record low: 14,826 ppd That beast of yours calculates to at least twice as powerful as mine without even considering the benefits of the later architecture... but I had to build on the cheap ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Day one Statistics Date ...... Total Run Time ...Points Generated... Results Returned 11/02/2013 ...0:043:01:41:04........ 280,791 ...........965 Speculative hat again: Based on my Linux rigs I am guessing about 5 to 10% of your completed units end up in either pending validation or pending verification. (I saw in your other thread you had 9 pages of pending, so a max of 135 so that would make your total done 1100 units) So your actual completion totals should be in the range of 294,000 to 308,000 points, and your results should be about 1010 to 1060. With some quick off the cuff arithmetic I see you are getting about 41 points per hour per core. Very nice. Hope to see how it averages over the next several days. Cheers
