Re: Good evening team.

It's happens to all of us at some time or other domonijo. I don't think age has much to do with it.

Next time check the link light on your NIC first smile

Good morning team.

Good morning everyone. smile

Dave. What threw me is that the link light both on the NIC card of the PC and on the adjacent mini-hub were behaving as they should and the other PC's and Android mobiles / tablets were working. My Android mobile was sending completed OET units as normal.smile

Good Morning Everyone.
Glad you got your NIC card sorted domonijo it's very easy in a moment of blind panic to make matters worse - Senior Cruncher, Senior Moment. Never fear I get lots of them - it adds to the spice of life. One favourite is getting up from my study desk to go to the bedroom to get something and then when I get there, wondering what it was that I went to get!

Re: Good morning team.

Evening Team,

I have decided to upgrade my computer around next Christmas.
I will be able to get the Kaby Lake i7 with 10 cores/20 threads as well as the new 3D XPoint memory and SSD to match. It should be a hell of a crunching machine.

Thankfully I'm a patient person.

Good afternoon team,

That will be a very impressive piece of kit. Currently running a pair of 10 core / 20 thread Xeon 2687v3s in my main workstation and she is a impressive crunching machine when not using all that CPU power for rendering.

Re: Good morning team.

I am looking forward to getting it, should boost my stats significantly.
My wife will inherit my i5 so it will be crunching as well.

I do some HD video processing for friends and family which helps justifying the cost, but it is nothing on your scale.
What software do you use?
Was thinking of getting to grips with Blender.

Re: Good morning team.

Morning all. The team hits 7 million results today. Well done everyone.

I'm going to add team overtake stats in the next few days, assuming there's nothing good on telly. Should be interesting.

Re: Good morning team.

Good Morning All. Another cool(er) day forecast 29C The mosquitos were getting a bit rampant last night but don't seem to like me which is great. Not so good for my partner though, she seems to attract them like honey attracts bees.
