Good Morning All. Having tried my 'experiment' with a short period of including FAH2 in my projects, I'm now back to 100% OET. Yesterday saw a hiccup in the availability ofWUs so I ended up with a couple of MCMs and a single FAH2. Ah well another (minor) dip in the stats.

So hopefully tomorrow will see you breaking into the top 20, Darkmatter? Another 8 cores, even if part time, will help keep the house warm. I was wondering about showing on my stats page when people drop out of the top 20, but that seemed a bit negative so I haven't done it.

Morning all. The stats didn't run last night. I'm investigating :-(

Good morning everybody.
DC. Having been on a few Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity exercises (some actually showed how to improve ordinary processes) I know how important that the 'customer' does not notice any 'downtime'. ![]() |

In this case, the server was offline for about 3 minutes whilst I restored the snapshot (which is taken every night about an hour before the stats run), and then it took another 10 minutes for the stats to be updated. I reckon 3 minutes offline is not too bad, given that there aren't any customers (in the fee paying sense). ![]()

More CEP2 betas on the way - The forum reports a slow start with more being available as time passes. I got one this morning which has run for a hour or so then crashed out as usual.

Haven't had any of the new batch of beta WUs yet. The last lot weren't good, and it would be interesting to know what percentage actually ran to completion. Still, I suppose that's the point of betas, but it would be nice to earn some credit for the work, even if it is only 20 seconds per unit.

Good morning everyone.
Have installed BOINC on my smartphone and set it to run across 8 cores last night, having felt the temperature this morning think I will need to rein this back to 2 cores. ![]() |
