Good morning team,
----------------------------------------I hope everyone is keeping well. I am having a good run with the fleet of late, running everything flat out with no rendering getting in the way! Not looking forward to the electricity bill but am glad of the extra heat here in the cold North East!

The cold weather does help to justify the electricity bill. My crunching has been temporarily bogged down, having inadvertently let some FAAH2 units onto my weediest crunchers (50 to 60 hours per unit).

Good Morning Team. That's a bit of bad news Dave, does this mean that I am overtaking you on run time ? Every cloud has a silver lining.Seriously, I hope you get up and going soon - can't have our stats man slacking Thanks for your crocodile tears Rod ![]() The BT man is here replacing the fibre gizmo, so hopefully my 8 threads will be running again soon. The two mobile phones I added in a few days ago (6 cores) are struggling for units too and keep running dry.

Dave I'd love to be able to transfer some of my WUs to you (perhaps I've cornered the market). It's a shame that you can't run WCG on iPhones and iPads - that would give me at least another 4 cores. I have yet to add my two retired laptops to my WCG farm so you can sleep easy for a while. My average has now passed above 10,000 points a day since I swapped back to 100% OET. I must get back to FAH 2 soon though and garner another diamond badge (1 year 37 days CPU time to go).

My outage at the office (which lost about 4 crunching days of runtime) reminded me of an irritating issue with WCG. The work unit limit for CEP2 is purely a server-side thing, so setting it to 6 (as in the case of my work PC) is fine, and it will normally have 5 or 6 CEP2 units running. However, if you set the work buffer to, say 5 days, you get a huge number of units downloaded... but only a maximum of 6 CEP2 units. As a result, I have to set the buffer to zero, so if there's an outage I'm stuffed.

Sorry to hear about the outage Dave. Unfortunately I am having to run some unplanned 3D rendering so my output will drop considerably for the next day or so.
----------------------------------------Loving the new member comparator in your stats. Excellent work as always.
